Material Adularia with Gypsum (Selenite) and Chlorite.
Origin Skardu District, Northern Areas, Pakistan.
Description Unusual bed of gray coloured adularia crystals with a layer of clear selenite partially overgrowing them. The adularia can clearly be seen through the gypsum. The base of the piece shows more adularia crystals and gypsum but has a coverage of microscopic dark gray green chlorite. Interesting alpine type piece.
Dimensions 60mm x 60mm x 25mm
Largest crystal Adularia: 10mm appx., Gypsum: 50mm appx., Chlorite - Micro.
